Cloud and Hybrid Backup Tailored for Your Business

Your cloud provider and hypervisor keep the infrastructure running, but recovering your servers, VMs, databases, and configurations after an attack or outage is on you. We help you choose and set up independent backup across your entire environment, on-prem or in the cloud, so you can restore fast when it matters.

Your cloud provider protects its platform. Your data and configuration are still yours to protect.

Cloud providers and hypervisors run on a shared-responsibility model: they keep the infrastructure online, but recovering your data and configuration after a mistake or an attack is on you. A snapshot in the same environment is not a backup. These are the gaps a proper backup closes:

A server, VM, or NAS failing or getting corrupted
Ransomware spreading across the network and encrypting everything
A misconfiguration or a deleted snapshot with nothing to fall back on
Databases and admin access that leave with a departing engineer

What a cloud and hybrid backup covers

Servers & Virtual Machines

Physical and virtual servers across on-prem and cloud, with fast, full recovery.

Databases

Critical databases with point-in-time recovery so you can roll back to a known-good state.

Cloud Platforms

Cloud workloads and configuration, plus your Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data.

NAS & File Servers

Business files and shared storage protected off-site, so a local failure is recoverable.

We help you choose the right backup, not sell you ours.

Hybrid environments are all different, and no single platform fits them all. We compare the leading backup platforms against how your environment actually runs, then set up the one that fits. Already running a backup that isn't working out? We'll compare it honestly against the alternatives and plan a clean switch.

Independent, not a single-vendor reseller

We work with Keepit and Druva and have hands-on experience across Synology, Cohesity, and Metallic, and recommend by fit. Our engineering team has deployed, replaced, and managed backup and file platforms for organizations from small businesses to 10,000-user enterprises.

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't my cloud provider already back up my data?

Not as a backup. Cloud providers and hypervisors run on a shared-responsibility model: they keep the infrastructure available, but protecting and recovering your data and configuration is your responsibility. Snapshots and replicas in the same environment are not a backup, because if that environment is deleted, compromised, or misconfigured, they can go with it.

What does the free assessment involve, is it a sales call?

It's a short review of your environment, workloads, and recovery goals. You'll get a clear picture of your gaps and options. There's no pressure and no obligation to buy anything.

Roughly what does hybrid backup cost?

Pricing scales with the workloads and data volume you protect rather than a flat per-user rate, so we scope it to your environment and quote it after a short assessment. Standard reseller pricing applies.

Which backup platforms do you work with?

We resell Keepit and Druva and have hands-on experience across Synology, Cohesity, and Metallic. We recommend by fit rather than by brand, weighing where the backup lives, immutability, retention, restore capability, coverage across multiple environments, and whether you keep independent access.

We already have a backup tool but we're not happy with it. Can we switch?

Yes, and it's simpler than most people expect, with one honest caveat: backup history can't move between platforms. Each vendor stores retention in its own format, so your existing backup jobs and archive stay with your old tool. A switch works by starting fresh: the new backup protects your data from day one, and you keep the old account in read-only mode, or take a final export, until its retention window no longer matters. We help you compare the options, plan the overlap, and time the cutover so there is never a gap in protection.

How is Zconnect different from buying backup direct from a vendor?

Same licensing price, plus independent advice on which platform fits, hands-on setup, and one local point of contact. We design it before it's sold, and you keep the documentation and access.
