The Cisco Meraki MV33 (MPN: MV33-HW) is a third-generation indoor smart camera that delivers 12.4 MP image quality and combines physical security with advanced analytics in a compact, fixed-lens mini fisheye form factor. With a fully immersive 360° field of view — 180° horizontal and 180° vertical — a single MV33 can cover an entire room, lobby, retail floor, or open-plan workspace without creating blind spots. Up to 2880 × 2880 video resolution provides exceptional detail, while in-browser dewarping with virtual pan, tilt, and zoom gives operators full control over live and historical footage without any additional software.

The MV33 is built on Cisco Meraki's cloud-augmented edge-storage architecture, eliminating the need for traditional network video recorders (NVRs) or on-premises servers. 256 GB of integrated high-endurance solid-state storage keeps video on board, and the Meraki Dashboard streams footage locally or remotely with no manual intervention required. The H.264 Smart Codec optimises bandwidth and extends retention by intelligently managing bit rates, while motion-based retention keeps a continuous 72-hour safety net and then trims footage with no detected activity. Optional Cloud Archive licences extend off-site backup to 30, 90, 180, or 365 days of continuous recording.

Onboard AI analytics power real-time motion search, motion recap, motion heatmaps, line crossing, area occupancy, and people counting — all without external compute. Machine learning enables intelligent object detection, person tracking, and the ability to bring your own AI (BYOAI) model for custom computer vision use cases. Built-in IR illumination ensures clear night-mode visibility, and three integrated microphones support directional audio capture with a dedicated physical privacy switch. The camera features built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi for flexible installations where cabling is limited, alongside a single Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port powered by 802.3af PoE (≤ 12.95 W).
