The Cisco Meraki MV93 is a third-generation cloud-managed smart camera that combines advanced physical security with powerful built-in analytics in a compact fisheye form factor. Designed for outdoor deployments, it delivers a full 360° field of view via its high-performance fisheye lens — providing complete situational awareness from a single camera installation. With its 1/2.3" 12.4MP progressive CMOS sensor and up to 4.2MP (2112×2112) video recording at 24fps, the MV93 is ideal for wide-area coverage in car parks, warehouses, transit hubs, and open outdoor spaces. Built-in IR illuminators extend night-vision capability up to 20 m (66 ft), while High Dynamic Range (HDR) ensures clear footage across challenging lighting conditions.
The MV93 runs on Cisco Meraki's cloud-augmented edge storage architecture — video is stored locally on the camera's 256GB high-endurance solid-state drive, while metadata and management are handled through the Meraki Dashboard. This eliminates the need for on-premises NVR infrastructure and simplifies deployment across sites of all sizes. Live streaming is available directly in any compatible browser with no additional client software required, and video can be accessed remotely via automatic cloud proxy. Retention can be optimised through motion-based and scheduled recording policies to maximise available storage.
Engineered for demanding environments, the MV93 carries an IP67 weather rating and IK10+ vandal-resistance rating, making it suitable for the harshest outdoor conditions. It also holds EN 50155 Railway Compliance certification for reliable operation under shock and vibration in transportation environments. Flexible connectivity options include a 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet (RJ45) port powered by 802.3at PoE, as well as a built-in 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi radio for wireless deployment flexibility. Security is built-in by design: the MV93 features secure boot, signed firmware, a hardware security chip, AES-256 full-disk encryption for stored video, and TLS encryption for video in transit — all enabled by default with no configuration required. The camera is NDAA compliant and TAA compliant. Please note: a Cisco Meraki MV Enterprise licence is required to activate and manage this camera and is sold separately.
