The Cisco Meraki MV33M is a third-generation indoor fisheye smart camera delivering an immersive 360° field of view and outstanding 12.4 MP image quality. Featuring a 1/2.3" back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a 1.6 mm f/2.0 fixed fisheye lens, it captures up to 2880×2880 video at 15 fps using H.264 Smart Codec — providing complete, high-resolution situational awareness from a single camera. With 512 GB of integrated high-endurance solid-state storage, the MV33M eliminates the need for a separate network video recorder (NVR), simplifying infrastructure and reducing cost. Please note: a Cisco Meraki MV licence is required to activate and manage this camera and is sold separately.
The MV33M combines physical security with powerful edge analytics, all managed through the intuitive Meraki Dashboard. Built-in intelligent tools include motion search, motion heatmaps, motion recap, Line Crossing, Area Occupancy, and MV Sense — enabling real-time people counting, occupancy monitoring, and custom computer vision models powered by machine learning. The camera sensor and lens unit can be physically adjusted — tilted through 65°, rotated ±90°, and panned through 354° — making it easy to achieve the exact coverage required at installation. Digital pan-tilt-zoom (DPTZ) is also available for live viewing and historical footage review.
Connectivity is straightforward: a single Ethernet cable provides both data and power via 802.3af PoE (maximum 12.95 W), while integrated 802.11ac Wi-Fi with omnidirectional antennas (6.3 dBi gain at 5 GHz) offers a flexible wireless installation option. The MV33M also functions as an MT sensor gateway, extending the reach of Meraki MT environmental sensors across the site. Security is built in at every layer: full-disk AES-256 encryption, secure boot, automatically provisioned TLS certificates, two-factor authentication for management, and NDAA-compliant hardware all come standard.
